1044 Main

1044 Main is located in the heart of downtown Kansas City. Formerly known as George B. Peck's Plaza Dry Goods Building, our team is working to convert the 100,000 SF, 11-story high-rise building into eye-catching apartments. The new space will feature 80 units, appealing amenities, and mixed-use space for retail and dining.
Given the age and location of this building, we’ve tackled a number of unique challenges in the design. We’ve navigated complex city ordinances and public utility coordination, while also meeting the criteria from the historic registry. Once complete, 1044 Main will add to Kansas City's walkable streetscape, enhancing the area along the iconic Main Street with high-quality living spaces.
